Common questions

How do I restore my purchase?

Open the app and tap Restore purchase on the unlock screen. Use the Apple Account or Google Account you bought it with, and the full course unlocks again.

Can I move my purchase between iPhone and Android?

No. Apple and Google each sell the unlock, and there's no Sentra Response account to link the two. A purchase restores on any iPhone with the same Apple Account, or on any Android phone with the same Google Account.

Does it work on Samsung Galaxy phones?

Yes. Galaxy phones run Android, so get the app from Google Play.

Is the $9.99 unlock a subscription?

No. It's a one-time purchase for that app, and you won't be charged again.

How do I get a refund?

Apple and Google handle every payment, so refunds go through them.

On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

On Android, request one within 48 hours of buying. Go to play.google.com, open Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history, and choose Report a problem next to the order. After 48 hours, email us.

Are these the real FAA test questions?

No. The FAA doesn't publish its live test questions. Ours are original, written from 14 CFR part 107, FAA advisory circulars and FAA handbooks, in the same three-choice format as the real test.

I think an answer is wrong.

Email us the question and the rule you think applies. We check it against the current regulation text and fix it in the next update.

Where is my progress stored?

On your phone. We don't keep it on a server. Deleting the app deletes your progress unless your phone restores it from a backup. Your purchase isn't lost: restore it after you reinstall.

Which test does the Part 107 app prepare me for?

The FAA's initial knowledge test for a remote pilot certificate with a small UAS rating, the test listed as Unmanned Aircraft General – Small (UAG).
